The netalgae.eu website is undergoing an upgrade at present. The site will be relaunched soon with new and updated content, a revised industry directory and renewed options to contact sectoral and institutional stakeholders.
The netalgae project ran from 2010 until the end of 2012. The project focused on 2 key goals;
- Establishing a Europe-wide network of the key stakeholders within the European marine macro algae sector.
- Creating a set of best practice guidelines for the management of macro algae resources into the future, based on an assessment of the existing regulatory and administrative systems across the project area.
The project was funded by the INTERREG Atlantic Area Transnational Programme (European Regional Development Fund).
