Presentations and Report on Netalgae Conference, November 6th 2012. Day 1, Session 2.

This session concentrated on discussing the European seaweed aquaculture sector and included a presentation on some new scientific and genetic breakthroughs made by the IDEALG project.

The delegates got an overview of the status and output of seaweed aquaculture and production across Europe. The applications, end use and potential of cultured seaweed was discussed.

This session was chaired by CĂ©line Rebours of Bioforsk, Norway.
